• PUGAD is a national and international NGO, that is a non-profit organization, independent of political and religious movements.• PUGAD wants a fair and just orderly world, by influencing the public opinion on welfare and development issues.• By creating concrete projects in the developing countries, PUGAD helps and support the underprivileged or group of less fortunate people to be able to stand on their own feet.
• Therefore, PUGAD builds a solid partnership in the developing countries; the key to success, viable and are willing to secure that the impact of our efforts are spread far out to the local project areas.
BACKGROUND.
• Today more then 800 individuals world wide, each own more 1 billion dollars, including dictators who took their country’s natural wealth as their personal property, while every 3rd creature earns less than 2 dollars a day.
The 20 richest in the world, own more than the income of the 50 poorest nations in the world. At the same time, millions of people starve and millions of children die of diseases and malnourishment.
• The worst though is; this enormous wealth-imbalance, leads to a more unfair distribution of power, because money controls the media, opinion formation and political influence.
• In PUGAD we keep the pace of development at an eye level, vivid and simple development aid. Today PUGAD has contacts and partners on the Philippines, Ghana, Cuba and Afghanistan.
• PUGAD is a member of Project Counselling – that is composed of 170 small and medium sized Danish NGOs.
• PUGAD works for the realization on UN’s 2015 goals.
